I have an old eety tariff. Can I switch to the new tariff?
A tariff change is possible. Just call our service hotline: 65 0 65, Monday to Saturday, 07:00 am to 10:00 pm. Or you can buy a new eety SIM-card.
I have an old SIM-card and would like to make telephone calls abroad. How does that work?
You will need a new SIM-card, which you can obtain in a specialist shop or directly from our service hotline at 65 0 65.
How long are tariff packages valid?
Tariff packages for eety TOP PROMO, eety STAR and eety CONNECT are valid for 30 days from the time of activation.
If there is sufficient credit present before the expiration of the tariff package, a new tariff is selected automatically.
How can I activate the eety EXTRA packages?
Just enter the following codes on your mobile phone:

How are eety tariff packages billed before it is enabled for the first time?
The costs of the eety tariff packages are deducted from your credit balance. This means that the credit balance needs to be topped up before it is enabled for the first time.
What do phone calls and surfing cost while I'm roaming within the EU?
As of June 15, 2017, roaming fees no longer apply to international travel within the EU. So what does this mean? More information on this subject can be found in our roaming overview.
What is LTE?
Following 2G and 3G, LTE (also known as 4G) represents the latest technology in cellular communications. It allows you to browse the Internet incredibly quickly: websites open faster, you can play videos immediately, and uploads complete much more rapidly!
How can I use LTE with my plan?
To use LTE, your cell phone needs to be LTE-capable. This can be determined by referring to your cell phone’s operating instructions. Enable the LTE feature in your device’s settings.
It may be necessary to restart your cell phone first.
It is only possible to use LTE with our SIM cards that have been available since mid-July 2015. Please obtain a new SIM card from an authorized dealer or at www.eety.at if you would like to use LTE but still have an older SIM card.
How do I enable data options?
If you would like to enable a data option (2 GB, 6 GB, or 11 GB), simply enter one of the following USSD codes into your cell phone:
2 GB:

Alternatively, you can call our service hotline on 83 083 between 07:00 am and 10:00 pm Monday to Saturday and have the data option you want enabled.
What do I need to do to keep a certain eety tariff?
To keep a certain eety tariff you simply need to regularly top-up the plan runs out (runs for 30 days). Otherwise, you will be switched to eety BASIS.
MOBILE NUMBER TRANSFER
What is a NÜV information?
The number transfer information (known as “NÜV information”, “NÜVi”) is to be obtained from the existing provider. It contains the data necessary for you to transfer your phone number and provides an overview of the costs that will be incurred at your existing provider.
Where can I get a NÜVI?
From your previous provider (hotline, e-mail, shop) or via the eety account manager/mobile number portability.
How much does a NÜVI cost?
€ 1.00 for the number transfer information and € 9.00 for the transfer itself.
How can I transfer my telephone number to eety?
Log in under account manager using your eety telephone number – go to the mobile number portability menu item and complete the online form. The transfer will be started after you have entered and sent your data. You will receive a confirmation e-mail and an e-mail with the anticipated transfer date.
ACTIVATION
How do I activate my eety SIM-card?
Just insert the SIM-card into the mobile phone. The SIM-card is activated automatically with the first call.
REGISTRATION
When do new customers have to register?
Starting January 1, 2019, every new customer is legally obliged to register their prepaid card.
When do existing customers have to register and what happens if they fail to?
Starting January 1, 2019, every existing customer is legally obliged to register. You will not be able to top-up after the above date if you fail to register. Any remaining credit balance can be used after January 1, 2019, too.
Who can register?
Anyone aged 14 years or over can register.
Do I have to pay anything to register?
You can register free of charge via the account manager. Authorized dealers may charge for this service. The price is set by the authorized dealer and not determined by eety.
Where can I register on the high street?
A list of all participating dealers is available at www.eety.at/en/registration.
Can I register my card at an authorized dealer even if I didn't buy it there?
Yes, registration is not affected by where the card was purchased. Customers can register at any participating dealer. Dealers may charge a fee for this.
Do I have to register the SIM card immediately at the time of purchase?
No, you can also register the SIM card from the comfort of your own home. If you purchase the card from an authorized dealer, it is advisable to register it there, too, as this will allow you to make calls and surf the Internet straight away.
What are my registration options?
You can register via the account manager, bank identification, mobile phone signature or photo identification (from about the end of January 2019). You can also register at authorized dealers, as well as at tobacconists from the end of January.
What do I need to register?
All you need at a dealer is your SIM card and a valid photo ID (passport, identity card, driving license). A valid account with Internet banking or the mobile phone signature is required online.
What data do I need to provide when registering?
You must provide the following information to register with eety: title, date of birth, first and last name, nationality, identification number and the identity card’s issuing authority.
Does eety store my bank identification data?
No, we neither store nor process the bank data entered via the account manager. You log in to Internet banking on the website of your particular bank – eety has no access to this data.
Will my bank account be debited during bank identification?
No, your bank account will not be debited.
Which banks can be used for bank identification?
Registration is currently possible via the following banks: Bank Austria, Erste Bank, Sparkasse, as well as the Hypo Group. BAWAG PSK and Raiffeisen are expected to follow in the spring of 2019.
How do you store the data entered?
The data are stored securely in our database and transmitted in encrypted form. eety attaches great importance to the security of customer data and treats it with the utmost care. If the card is cancelled, the data are erased automatically after the legal deadlines have been complied with. All the details are available on our privacy statement at eety.at.
Are data from the online order at www.eety.at applied directly when registering?
No, data from the eety online shop order are not applied when registering. Registration must be carried out separately.
Can I change the data later?
Yes, the data provided can be changed later. To do this, you simply need to re-register and update the data.
Can I register via the hotline?
No, you cannot register via the eety hotline.
How do I know that the registration was successful?
The previously limited SIM card can be used without any restrictions after registration.
PIN &PUK
Where can I find the PIN and PUK codes for my SIM-card?
The PIN and PUK codes are on the SIM-card holder that you broke the SIM-card out of. Should you have lost your PIN and PUK codes, please contact our service hotline at 83 083, Monday to Saturday, 07:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Where can I buy an eety top-up voucher?
You can buy an eety top-up voucher in the value of € 10.00 or € 20.00 anywhere in Austria in specialist shops and also at Lidl. Or you can just top up online.
How do I top up my credit with a top-up voucher?

How can I top up my credit without a top-up voucher?
You can buy credit online or you can just top up online.
How can I find out how much credit I have?
Just enter * 1 4 9 # ✆ . Or online in your Account Manager as well as by calling 83 0 33.
What happens when I have used my free allowances?
After having used up the respective free allowances, every minute/SMS costs 5 cents and every MB 0,9023 EUR.
Where can I see how many free minutes I have used?
You can see this in the Account Manager at any time: simply log in or register with your telephone number and see how many free minutes you have used.
SIM-CARD
For how long is my eety SIM-card valid?
Your eety SIM-card is valid for 12 months from the time of activation. The validity is extended to 12 months with every top-up.
My SIM-card is defective. Where can I get a new one?
Just call our service hotline (068183083, Monday to Saturday, 07:00 am to 10:00 pm) and we will send you a new SIM-card.
VOICE MAILBOX
Does eety have a voice mailbox?
Of course. You can reach it all across Austria at 83 0 00 and from abroad at +43 681 83 0 00.
Which languages can I configure on my voice mailbox?
German, English, Croatian, Serbian, Turkish
My old voice mailbox messages have disappeared. What can I do?
We started a new voice mailbox system in the middle of June. You can access your old voice mailbox messages at +43 681 83003.

Where can I see my bill?
Just log in to the Account Manager at www.eety.at anmelden and look at the call history.
NETWORK
Which network does eety use?
eety uses the Drei network.
Does LTE work on eety?
Yes, eety supports LTE (4G) since July 19, 2016.

Can I send MMS messages with eety?
At the present time, you cannot send SMS messages with eety. However, that is about to change. We are already working on an MMS service for our customers.

Can I also use my mobile phone abroad?

As an eety-customer, what will change for me on June 15, 2017?
As of June 15, 2017, roaming fees no longer apply to international travel within the EU. You can find out here what that means for you as an eety customer.
What is the EU data limit?
Whether the entire data volume or merely a part of it can be used while roaming within the EU is decided by a formula specified by the EU. As of June 15, 2017, you will be able to see in your eety account manager whether your tariff has an EU data limit, and if so what that limit is.
Which eety rates are suitable for roaming rates?
The following rates are suitable for roaming rates: eety BASIS, eety TOP PROMO, eety DATA 2GB, eety DATA 6GB, eety DATA 11GB and all eety EXTRA packages.
eety STAR and eety CONNECT are not suitable for roaming.
What does “not suitable for roaming” mean?
The following eety rates: eety STAR and eety CONNECT don´t allow telephone, internet and SMS/text services while abroad. These rates are not suitable for roaming.
How do I switch from a tariff that is not suitable for roaming tariff to one that is suitable for roaming?
Please contact our service hotline at 65 0 65.
Can I use my eety SIM card for calling other countries?
You can make calls from Austria to other countries for as little as 1 cent*/per minute with eety. * A call-setup fee of 10 cents will be charged when calling other countries (once per call).

My mobile phone with the SIM-card was stolen. How can I get a new SIM-card?
Simple call our service hotline (+43 681 65 0 65, Monday to Saturday, 07:00 am to 10:00 pm) and have the SIM-card blocked. We will send you a new SIM-card.
ACCOUNT MANAGER
What can I do in the Account Manager?
You can query your current credit level as well as look at your call history and see how many free allowances have been used so far.
How do I get my eety password for the Account Manager?
Just enter the telephone number in the login area of the Account Manager and the password will be sent to you by SMS.
I forgot my password for the Account Manager. What can I do?
Just enter the telephone number in the login area of the Account Manager and a new password will be sent to you by SMS.
TERMINATION
How can I terminate my contract with eety?
There is no need to terminate. Your eety SIM-card is valid for 12 months after the last top-up and will then be deactivated automatically.

MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY
Can I transfer my telephone number to eety?
Yes. Of course you need an eety SIM-card. Then you need to obtain number transfer information from your current operator. You can send this information to us by mail or e-mail (info@eety.at). We will then call you and fix a time for the mobile number transfer within the following days. If you don’t want to obtain the number transfer information yourself, simply call us and we will send you an authorisation form and handle the mobile number transfer application with your old operator.
How much does it cost to transfer a mobile number to eety?
If you want to transfer your previous telephone number to eety, your old network operator will bill you for the transfer. Generally this amounts to € 10.00: € 1.00 for the number transfer information and € 9.00 for the transfer itself.
